Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 April 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We use them for strictly necessary functions — keeping you signed in, remembering your language — and, with your consent, for analytics.
2. Categories we use
Essential (always on)
- Clerk session (
__session,__clerk_db_jwt) — keeps you signed in. Set by our auth provider. Session / up to 1 year. - Locale preference (
rondz-locale) — remembers whether you prefer English or Dutch. 12 months. - Consent choice (
rondz-consent) — stores which cookie categories you agreed to. 12 months.
Analytics (opt-in)
We don't currently run a third-party analytics tool. If we add one (for example a self-hosted Plausible or similar), its cookies will appear here and we will re-prompt for consent. Until then, this category is empty.
Marketing (opt-in)
We do not use marketing cookies. This category is reserved and currently unused.
3. Your consent
On your first visit the cookie banner appears with three options that carry equal weight: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise to pick per category. Your choice is stored in the rondz-consent cookie and honoured until it expires or you change it.
Essential cookies are set without consent; we cannot deliver the Service without them. Non-essential cookies are never set until you opt in.
4. Changing your choice
Clear the rondz-consentcookie (in your browser's site-data settings) and reload. The banner will reappear. You can also adjust your choice per category via the banner's "Customise" button.
Most browsers let you block cookies entirely. Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in. Guides: Chrome, Safari, Firefox.
5. Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie category or a new vendor, we will update this page and re-prompt for consent before the new cookie is set.
